About Me

Growing up, my parents were beekeepers. It was our family’s full-time business. We had thousands of hives across three states in the US, plus a handful of employees.

As climate change made rainfall more unpredictable in our region, we experienced immediate impacts on honey production. Less rain meant fewer blossoms, and therefore less honey. Agricultural production was hard enough, but this exacerbated the challenges my family faced.

During university, I discovered a growing movement of business leaders who made environmental impact integral to their company strategy. Ever since then I’ve been motivated to work within and for organizations driving change through the creation of more sustainable products and production systems.

These days I specialize in working with innovators and brands to scale more sustainable technologies. I draw on Life Cycle Assessment, Carbon Footprinting, Social Responsibility, Green Chemistry, Biodegradation assessment and more to help organizations big and small. Many of them are grappling with familiar tensions:

“We intend to be sustainable, but we’ve never used tools like LCA or green chemistry…where do we begin?”

“How do we show the real value of what we’re doing to partners, investors, or customers?”

“We’ve got data, but we’re struggling to find the story in it.”

If any of this sounds familiar, let’s chat!
